Hey! My name is Joanne and my friends call me Josie!  I'm a Mammy, wife & hairstylist living in the midlands after spending my twenties and most of my thirties in Dublin.

I began working as a nearly stylist 20 years ago with a great group of people. It was a very exciting and extremely creative time for me and it really sparked my passion for this wonderful career. I was so lucky to win numerous awards and I still remain the youngest person ever to win Hairstylist of the Year. After making the difficult decision to go freelance, I initially focused on editorial work but after a few years I accidentally fell into the world of weddings and it has just been a whirlwind ever since. I feel so privileged to have a job that I really love and that gives me such variety everyday.

Forever daydreaming, I've now decided to create my own little space where I can write about and share with you all of the things that excite me! I've always fantasised about running my very own magazine, so I suppose this is the next best thing! 

Interior design, beauty, style and more recently babies (who knew!) are my loves and things that you will find here. My goal is to curate articles that I hope are interesting to read but also visually beautiful. 

Basically, I'm all about the pretty.
