TOP 6 WEDDING HAIRSTYLES

I was asked by the Sunday World this past weekend to talk about some of my favourite bridal looks so incase you missed it, here they are... I think there is a style here for everyone, so have fun choosing which one floats YOUR boat!!!

The Hollywood Wave

This look is really glamorous and glossy. A nod to those who graced the red carpet in the thirties and forties. It's a great option for the ladies out there who want to leave their hair down but still want it to feel different and really special.

The Textured Updo

Another favourite amongst my clients, perfect for brides who want it up but also want to feel like they still have hair. It's textured, soft and has natural looking volume. To achieve this look it's vital that your hair has some subtle highlights and plenty of layers.

The Soft Half Up

This is probably my most requested style. It's perfect for those who want to leave their hair down but also like a little bit clipped back away from the face. It's pretty, simple and works with most hair types and wedding dresses.

The Ballerina Bun

This is a beautifully simple style. For those fuss free brides who love understated elegance. It works just as well with a slinky evening gown as it does with a pretty tea length dress. It always reminds me of Carrie Bradshaw, very New York

The Braided Updo

This is perfect Summer hair! Introducing braids into wedding hair instantly adds a relaxed element to the overall style. If you're choosing braids for your bridesmaids then try giving them all different variations to keep it fun!

The Ponytail

This look is perfect for those hip "anti-brides". The ones who want to feel like themselves and not conform to traditional bridal styling. If you do want to feel a little more "done" then add some extra volume at the crown
