DUBLIN GEMS - INDUSTRY

DUBLIN GEMS - INDUSTRY

I have such a soft spot for Industry on Drury Street. It opened its doors when Tom was only a few months and we were living on Crow Street, so we quickly became regulars. I was in the middle of night feeds and feeling a bit like an 'auld wan' at the time. Having that amazing seat in the window, watching all the cool people walk past was my way of staying connected with my pre-motherhood life (without having to actually do anything). This place is a nosey persons dream.

It was perfect when Tom was really little because he was so easy to bring anywhere. Not really ideal at the moment because he doesn't like Mammy to stay in the one spot for longer than 5 seconds. It's a little small, so not the best place for any kick offs! These days I prefer to go solo whenever I escape into town :)

As well as being a delicious cafe, it's also a beautiful lifestyle store and I just can't leave without getting something. Anything. The last time it was a pen. Physically couldn't leave without a souvenir.

The lunch is out of this world. I'm not a massive salad eater and usually don't like chicken served cold BUT the flavours are so unbelievable and different that I forget all that in there. I've yet to order something that I haven't loved.

Lately, I've been having the hotpot of organic meatballs served with couscous, it's so delicious. No visit is complete without a sea salt brownie and a cup of their coffee. Be warned though, you will never again be able to go through town without getting that blasted brownie!
