AUTUMNAL HAIR COLOUR

AUTUMNAL HAIR COLOUR

I always think that the autumn is the perfect time to warm up your hair colour. That summer glow you acquired is fading fast and our Irish skins (well, mine anyway) are returning to their natural blue/grey state. So it's time to inject some luminosity and warmth.

Changing your hair colour is a great way of boosting radiance, your face will thank you for it, I promise! When choosing warm shades, think of the following buzzwords… butter blonde - honey - caramel - golden - toffee - chocolate - cinnamon… you get the idea!

Great! Now I'm hungry!

BLONDES

Trying to make blonde hair shiny can be difficult but popping a rich glossy toner over your highlights goes a long way to help. Blake Lively is the poster girl for beautiful honey and caramel shades. This California girl rocks these golden, gently tousled waves like no other.

BRUNETTES

A rich chocolate base, teamed with subtle cinnamon lights are the way to go here! It's all about that luxe shine - healthy hair that's full of vitality is the goal. Looking for the perfect brown shade? Then look no further than Olivia Palermo! Her glossy locks and always freshly blow-dried hair should be every brunettes #hairinspo!

REDS

Richen up your base with a deep red and add some really understated strawberry blonde tones throughout the ends. Emma Stone is the ultimate redhead girl crush. I love her fringe here, it's great for maximising that shine. Her barely there highlights through the ends really accentuate that textured haircut.
