SITTING ROOM SHTYLIN'

SITTING ROOM SHTYLIN'

Hello there lovely people! How are we all coping? It’s just mad isn’t it?! I think it’s so hard because there is no escape. Like, I love my family but my God I miss the drive to work, sipping a hot americano and listening to a podcast. Then the sneaky visit to Blanch on the way home for a quick Shellac and a nosey in Zara. It’s those quiet, selfish moments that I miss but listen we’re all healthy and happy so I can’t complain too much!

Now, you might think I’m crazy for doing a fashion post when we have nowhere to go but sure look this won’t last forever and when we do finally get out wouldn’t it be lovely to emerge in a cute little ensemble? (preferably something that forgives my months of gluttony)!

I trawled through my favourite shops and have put together some full outfits from each. Shockingly, Zara doesn’t feature! I KNOW!!!! There is absolutely NADA in there at the minute, like I mean it’s the worst I’ve ever seen it!

Anywho, enjoy the browse! (nothing is affiliated) and even if ya don’t get out you always have your sitting room :-)

H&M

H&M have some gorgeous pieces this year. Lots of billowy kaftan style dresses, perfect for all the food babies that are currently being created during this lockdown. I think I’m 90% bread at the moment so it’s a big no to jeans. Loved this polka dot number and these sandals are divine, they’re real leather so I can imagine they are soft. I teamed them up with my favourite Raybans - they would go with every one of the below outfits!

And Other Stories

Every year I always find one thing I love from And Other Stories. Last year it was the below wedges (they’ve brought them back this year too)! Saying that, I find that a lot of their cuts don’t suit my pear shape BUT when I do find something it is always amazing, such good quality and something that I’ll have forever. I love both of these dresses and I think their jewellery selection is probably the best on the high street. I have the Veja Novas below and they are so comfy.

Asos

I only ever seem to shop on Asos when I’m pregnant as their maternity section is quite good! So I’ve teamed this Topshop dress with a good ole raffia bag and fail safe Raybans. All available on Asos. Although just before I posted this I noticed that the maternity dress is now on sale on the Topshop site so you’ll get it cheaper there!

River Island

To be honest, River Island was slim pickings. These two dresses were the only things I could find on their website. I found no jewellery I liked so paired them with these gorgeous pieces from And Other Stories. The Superga’s and Ravel sandals are both on the River Island website but in my experience if you google Superga there are better deals to be found on the world wide web!

Sezane

While I love Parisian label Sezane it is without a doubt a splurge! Saying that, I’m in love with all their vintage inspired pieces, perfect if you’re looking for something different! This Antonella dress is linen and cotton so perfect for the warmer weather. You would have it for years and years. These shoes are gorgeous for dressing up an outfit but the block heel makes them easier to wear if you are anything like me and forget how to walk in heels. *Le Sigh!
