It's All White
I'm definitely more of a Winter person, I don't trust the Summer. The Irish Summer is like that unpredictable friend who more often than not is a no-show, lets you down repeatedly but when you do finally meet up, you forget everything, all is forgiven and you have the best night of your life! I want to love Summer it's just that it's really annoying sometimes! Like when you leave the house in the morning in your pretty little dress and then when you're leaving work it's pelting hailstones. I know where I stand with Winter.
Still, every year around this time I start imagining what I want to wear in the Summer. Have you ever seen those women walking around who look SO together. You know the kind I'm talking about, barely there makeup, effortless hair, wearing really crisp white clothes and this sounds weird but they just look SO clean. It's like someone has actually lifted them out of a box. Well this is the idea I always have in my head. The reality is that I'm the complete opposite of that person. I always have coffee dribbles, thanks to Tom I have sticky paws somewhere at all times and the lovely barely there "dewy" skin is courtesy of sweat from dragging a 16 month old through town.
A girl can dream though and make no mistake I'll still try my best to rock this look (even if I do only last an hour in it)
